Practical Doomsday by Michal Zalewski

Not sure how I got suckered into reading this. It must have appealed to some deepseated prepper instincts in me. Provenance aside, this prepper book started off strong, rejecting the typical prepper tropes of guns, generators, and glory.

Two useful things I got from this book:

  1. A nudge to try to scenario plan some possible near future disasters and have a basic plan of action.
  2. A reminder to check on some of the rudimentary gear I have in the house and in the car (eg. water, basic food supplies).
