Night by Elie Wiesel

Written in relatively dry prose, this book packs a punch in few words. I found it similar in affect to The Road, until remembering that this book is in a completely different genre. This is not speculative science fiction. It is an autobiography. That’s when the horror and depravity really hits home.

If you’re feeling a bit iffy on humanity, consider waiting this one out.
