Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Incredibly vividly written. Fascinating to see the self made struggles of people that are so fantastically well off. Very unsympathetic characters throughout, except for the narrator.

Something about Gatsby's lifestyle reminds me of my time in SF. Large house parties, loose connections, endless networking and small talk. There is a certain aimlessness to it that I found very relatable.
